Pecan Bars
That is my first attempt in making and eating a pecan desert. It is simply too good to withstand. I’m sure everyone who eats this can adore it obviously.
I’m in an entire thanksgiving mood and cooking up a storm for this thanksgiving. Mostly I’m attempting to cover as much recipe as i can and this was my first recipe on the list. I ordered pecans from amazon and made this as well a pecan pie too. Each were divine.
Ingredients for Pecan Bars
- All Purpose flour
- Cornstarch
- Confectioners Sugar
- Cold Unsalted Butter
- Brown Sugar
- Honey
- Vanilla
- Milk
- Pecans
- Salt a pinch
The best way to Make Pecan Shortbread Squares
- Preheat oven to 170 degree C. Line a 9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper or foil and put aside.
- Take flour, cornflour, powdered sugar, salt in a bowl and blend well. Add within the cubed butter and use a fork to rub it well. Now press this within the baking pan and bake for 15 mins, remove and put aside.
- Now take butter, sugar, honey, salt and milk in a sauce pan and convey it to a boil. Cook for 1 or 2 mins.
- Take it off the warmth, add in vanilla, pecan and blend well.
- Pour this over the crust and bake for 20 mins. It would be bubbly but once it cools it’s going to set.
- Now cool it down completely and slice.
- Serve.
