I must have posted this long before, but i ran out of time and that i am rushing now, i still have few more recipes to be posted which i made for navrathri sorry for not sharing it before..Will post it in them coming weeks..
Ingredients for Peanut Sundal Recipe (Verkadalai Sundal)
- Raw Peanuts – 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Coconut – 3 tbsp finely grated ( Optional )
- Black pepper – 1 tsp crushed
For Seasoning:
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds / Kaduku – 1 tsp
- Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida / Kaya Podi / Hing – ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Methods to Make Peanut Sundal Recipe (Verkadalai Sundal)
- Wash and soak peanuts in a number of water overnight.
- Drain the water and add it to pressure cooker. Cover with fresh water. Pressure cook it for five whistle. Then simmer for 20 mins.
- Now switch off the flame and let the steam go all by itself. Open the pressure cooker and drain the water and put aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add in seasoning ingredients and saute for a min.
- Now add in cooked drained peanuts and blend well.
- Add in salt and toss well.
- Then add in crushed pepper and blend well.
- Add coconut if needed and blend well.
- Serve.
