I used to be considering of posting karthigai deepam recipes, but couldn’t make it up. So i’m sharing a recipe which i made for navrathri. This is a straightforward recipe which takes place in all festive occasions. This is a straightforward version which is made with only banana, there’s one other version which is made with mixed fruits. Will share it soon..

Ingredients for Banana Panchamirtham
- Ripe Banana – 2 large or 7 small ones
- Jaggery / Palm Sugar / Sarkarai / Gur – 4 tbsp
- Fresh Coconut – 3 tbsp grated
- Cardamom Powder / Yelakai Podi – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tsp
Tips on how to Make Banana Panchamirtham
- Take jaggery, coconut, cardamom, ghee in a bowl and beat well.
- Add in sliced bananas and blend well.
- Let it sit for 30 mins before serving.
