Chiroti Recipe

This sweet has a number of layer and turned out so crispy. I used some flour to make the dough bind together. I used sugar syrup the dip this in, but you may dust it with powdered sugar and serve it. This pheni is served traditionally together with some badam milk. You’ll find the recipe of that right here. I just served it with plain milk.

The best way to Make Chiroti Recipe (Pathir Pheni)

Make Dough:

Take flour,  rawa, salt, baking powder, sugar in a mixing bowl.  Add ghee and rub together along with your hands.Add water and make right into a stiff dough. Cover it and let it rest for 30 mins.

Shaping Chiroti (Padhir Peni)

Mean while take 3 tbsp of ghee and rice flour in a bowl and make right into a paste.

Now divide the dough into 6 equal portions and begin rolling to a skinny circle.Take one circle within the front of you and apply the rice flour paste over that. Put one other one circle on top of that and spread  the paste again. Proceed this until you may have finished the method. Apply the rice flour paste on the highest of the circle and begin rolling to a decent log.

Frying Chiroti

Cut out the sides and cut the log into equal parts. Take one part in front of you and begin rolling to a thick circle.Heat oil for deep frying and fry this in hot oil till cooked and lightweight golden. Remove it to a paper towel.

Sugar Syrup for Chiroti

Mean while make the sugar syrup by heating sugar and water together with cardamom pods till it reaches one string consistency. In the event you dip the spoon within the syrup and take out..the last drop falling from the spoon should form a string.

Serving

Now dip the fried pathir pheni on this sugar syrup and take it out to a wire rack. After it’s cooled completely garnish it with crushed cashews and serve together with milk or badam milk.
