Ingredients used for this recipe are fresh peas, freshly grated coconut, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic, oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, goda masala, and salt.

To a blender jar, add freshly grated coconut, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger and garlic.

Mix to a fantastic paste. Keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing.

Add green masala paste.

Saute for a minute on low flame.

Add green peas and blend.

Add salt and goda masala.

Add water. Cover and cook till the peas are cooked.

Serve green peas curry with rotis or rice or bread.

- 2 cups green peas
- 1/2 cup fresh coconut
- 1 cup fresh coriander leaves
- 3 green chillies
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- a pinch of asafoetida
- 1 tsp goda masala
- salt to taste

In to a mixer jar, add fresh coconut, coriander leaves, green chillies, garlic and ginger. Add little water and mix to a fantastic paste. Keep aside.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and hing.

When the seeds start crackling, add the green masala paste. Saute for a minute on low flame.

Add green peas and blend.

Add salt and goda masala. Give a fast mix.

Add a cup of water.

Cover and cook till the peas are cooked.
