Bay Leaf is one my favorite spice to make use of in cooking due to its unique aroma..For those who can find fresh bay leaf then you should use that, but I all the time have dried bay leaf in my pantry all the time. Dried Bay Leaf doesn’t have any aroma while you smell them because it is, but when you throw them in hot oil or ghee then it releases it aroma and it just fills your entire house.

I like making this rice since it has a lot of spices and if you are frying them in hot ghee, wow the smell will likely be so good. This rice has some sweetness and richness to it from the coconut milk you employ it it. That is one in every of the must try rice recipe.

The way to Make Brinji Rice Recipe (Brinji Recipe)

  1. Soak basmati rice for 30 mins. Drain it and fry it a tsp of ghee for five mins. Remove and put aside.
  2. Now heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add all the entire spices and saute for a min.
  3. Add in onions and green chilli. Saute this for five mins. Add in ginger garlic paste and blend well. Season with some salt.
  4. Add within the fried basmati rice and toss well. Pour in some coconut milk and water and produce it to a boil.
  5. Simmer the flame and canopy the pressure cooker and cook it for 1 whistle and simmer for 10 mins.
  6. Switch off the flame and let the pressure go all by itself. Fluff it up with a fork and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve.

Soak your rice

 

roast rice in ghee

 

till light golden

 

heat ghee in a pan

 

add all whole spices

 

onions and chilli

 

season with some salt

 

add ginger garlic paste

 

 

 

and coconut milk

 

pour some water

 

and produce it to boil
