I all the time prefer oats to have for breakfast and dinner. Yes a bit eating regimen conscious. I don’t prefer oats porridge day by day because I’ll get bored easily and leave the eating regimen. The best way to Make Oats Kara Pongal Recipe
- Heat 1 tsp of ghee and roast oats till nice aroma comes. Remove it to a plate..
- Heat 1 tsp of ghee and roast moong dal till nice aroma comes. Pour 5 cups of water and produce it to a boil. Cover and simmer for 15 mins until the dal is cooked.
- Add salt to the dal and slowly add in oats and blend well..Cook on a slow heat covered till the water is totally absorbed.
- Remove this to a bowl and make the seasoning.
- Heat remaining ghee within the kadai and add mustard, channa dal, urad dal, cashews, raisins, pepper, cumin and blend well.
- Now add in ginger, green chilli and onions and sauté this for jiffy.
- Now add within the cooked dal and oats and blend well. Let it get heated all over.
- Serve with any chutney.
