Ingredients for Ragi Paal Kozhukattai
- Milk – 4 to five cups
- Sugar -1 cup
- Thick Coconut Milk – 1 cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp For Kozhukattai:
- Ragi Flour – 1 cup
- Rice Flour – ½ cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Salt – ¼ tsp
- Water – ½ cup
How one can Make Ragi Paal Kozhukattai
- Take ragi, rice flour, salt, water, and milk in a bowl and blend well to a runny paste.
- Now pour this in a non stick pan and keep cooking till it comes as a ball. Add in some ghee and knead well. Put aside too cool down. Shape small balls using this and put aside.
- Now in a pan, bring milk and sugar to a boil. Once it boil, add in ragi balls within the boiling milk and keep cooking them for five to eight mins.
- Now add in coconut milk, cardamom powder and blend well.
- Remove this from flame and put aside for 15 mins too let the combo cool down.
- Serve.

1)Take all of your ingredients

2)Take ragi flour in a bowl

3)add in rice flour

4)add in milk

5)water

6)add a pinch of salt

7)mix well

8)pour this in a pan

9)cook on low heat

10)now the ragi is cooked

11)add in ghee

12)knead well

13)cool it down

14)take a small portion

15)shape it into ball

16)all done

17)take milk in a pan..use a milk pan or sauce pan for this

18)add in sugar

18)mix well

19)bring it to a boil

20)drop balls in

21)keep cooking

22)it can take around 5 to 7 mins

23)a few of my balls broke since the pan which i used was not that deep

24)now add in coconut milk..thick variety

25)add cardamom powder and blend well

26)Serve. This kozhukattai is so soft and tasted incredible. You’ll be able to never find that is made with ragi. The balls will look so soft, but when you cool it down, it can get right texture..
